EarthSeeds Ambassador Training
Common Grove is assisting the Global View Foundation with their Earthseeds Ambassadors training programs.
Global View is a 501(c)3 organization that challenges us all to “Change the World by Changing our World Views.” They promote the Astronaut’s View by providing Earth images to plant as Earthseeds into the hearts and minds of all our Crewmembers of Spaceship Earth. They also feature Educational programs for schools, churches, camps, businesses and families. Best known for the “Planet in Every Classroom” project, which aims to have an earth image (our Global Family Portrait) in every classroom by the year 2020, they also won a Parent’s choice award for developing a fun inflatable globe made from over 2000 NASA photos as the most authentic view of Earth. Currently they’re developing SUS-BUSES (Community Sustainability Buses) that combine positive solution-focused ideas with business sponsors to build bridges towards happier, healthier, greener and more sustainable communities.
Earthseeds projects are aimed at Unity through Harmony; “Neither Left nor Right but Forward” approaches to fun creative ideas that celebrate our awakening and overcoming our challenges rather than despairing fear-based tones. Earthseeds invokes a sense of wonder and awe in all their public outreaching. Their goals are always positive: to Inform, Inspire, Integrate and Involve people to build a world that works for everyone. They work with Music and art as well as science, ecology and geography and their products and services have been successfully used for years.
EarthSeeds’ training to become an Ambassador is a web-based program that inspires and teaches crewmembers to effectively staff booths at events and to give presentations. Each Ambassador works with “Mini-Grants” to create income for both Earthseeds and the Ambassadors themselves. As an Ambassador, you’ll have fun at special events and help people get involved in surfing the rising green waves of change to become more sustainable. You choose your own time and energy levels, as Earthseeds aims to be the “People’s Participation Project” for win-win-win symbiotic relationships. You can choose from various educational programs and shared fundraising campaigns. Being an Earthseeds Ambassador is an ideal way to “do good and do well” in your community.
Using creative ideas and THINK GLOBAL - ACT LOCAL platforms, you can participate in community activities and motivate future generations to reduce, re-use, re-cycle and re-invent the ways we choose to live together in peace and harmony with our Earth.
